This assignment offered a unique and challenge scope, designing four houses and also addressing the site. The idea of the garden city really heavily played on my mind. Through investigation, i thought that the garden itself didn't need to be the typical plantation around a house. What it the house itself portrayed an 'architectonic' garden. In that case, how would a house 'grow' on the site, how would it develop and mature? 
The idea of the parasite or fungus developed from this thought process. Fungus attaches itself to anything that has properties that would nurture life. This is directly proposed in my on site. A network of canyons and trenches would act like a old wooden log, upon where houses could 'attach' themselves to in any which way they want. Ultimatley, far more than four houses could share the same real estate, replicating the natural world.
